The Pixie and The Unicorn

Once upon a time, there lived a little girl on a magical planet called Magics. She wasn't an ordinary girl; she was a pixie. Sadly, she didn't know her powers. Her name was Christine Irene. She loved nature and had the power to talk to plants and animals. She used to help every single animal in need; and she used to plant a plant everyday.

The planet was home to many magical creatures like unicorns, mermaids and fairies and singing lotuses. These are just a few out of the whole population of magical animals! Imagine how many there were on the whole planet!

One day, as she finished sowing a seed in the soil and had watered it; after her magic classes were over; she noticed a beautiful rainbow unicorn standing inside her beautiful garden. Her garden was filled with plants, flowers, and trees.

She went towards the unicorn and stroking its soft fur, noticed it had a broken horn. She realized it was hungry, thirsty and needed a bath too! She quickly used her magic to clean up the unicorn and then took some food and water for it to drink. The unicorn licked her and ate up all the food. Christine decided to name the unicorn Peg. She used to go riding on it every day, and feed it and also give water and bath it.

One day, she got to know that an evil witch was attacking the magical pond with the help of the evil elves. She went at once with other pixies and her unicorn friend. Once they got there, the pixies fought the elves and over took them and put them in magical cages.

Once that was going on, Christine started attacking the evil witch, who was about to absorb all the magical pond's water. She asked all the plants to form a net over the magic pond, so the the evil witch would not be able to absorb the water of the magic pond. Then she and Peg began fighting the evil witch.

A massive battle took place. Christine used her powers to call more animals and she asked them to help. The horse and her put various attacks on her till she was defeated. Once all her powers and energy was drained, she and the horse put her in a magical cage that could not be broken by any force, no matter how strong it is. Then the evil witch was destroyed and sent out of the magical dimension to a prison where evil witches were put.

After it was over, they all heard a magical voice. It came from the Tree of Life, a magical tree which provides magic pops to the pixies that are worth and had seen their talent and used it for good.

The Tree of Life was saying, "When a pixie sees her talent and uses it for good, the Tree of Life, gives her a magic pop, a magical sphere which turns a pixie into a pop pixie! Christine, the pop pixie of horses!"

A magical pop came to her, and with a flash of light she turned into a beautiful pixie with pink wings and a rainbow dress! The unicorn took a dip of her horn in the pond and her horn sparkled and turned into a fixed glowing golden horn! Christine hugged the unicorn and they all lived happily ever after, without the bad witch coming, all thanks to Christine!

My house is not a home

I feel as if I am trapped in a cage,
Waiting for time to pass till I'm the age,
I am made to be sad all the time,
And I am not allowed to spend even a small dime.

Every day I always feel,
Like I'm stung by a huge electric eel,
If there is one thing that I want,
But never seem to get it is
FREEDOM! FREEDOM! FREEDOM!

What I always want is to be free,
Like a bird that is worth to see,
I want to become a teacher,
I want to become an author.

I don't want to stay in the "home" I stay
I don't want to slave away,
I want to explore the wonders of the world
I want to go to where my heart shall say.

I want very badly only one thing,
One that is very big,
I want something that is only a word
It is desired by every single bird.

It consist of only seven letters,
And of course it is wanted by all
It is FREEDOM I want,
FREEDOM! FREEDOM! FREEDOM!

I want to stay where the animals stay,
Not having to slave away,
I want to stay in the heart of nature,
I want to stay in the forest..

Here is another story by @sriyamathur . All credits goes to her!

Once upon a time, there lived a girl called Lucy. She was beautiful and kind, and whenever she went out, all eyes were on her. But, Lucy did not like to be pretty. She used to wear simple dresses and she was always helping others and she lived alone in a house in a village.

She was 8 years old, and she hated to have everyone keep their eyes only on her. She loved nature and she used to have a beautiful garden, full of grass at empty spaces and many fruit and vegetable plants and flowers everywhere.

Her dream was to explore nature and find its secrets. She wanted to go to the heart of nature - the forest and find many animals that had been unknown to the human world before and to protect creatures of all kinds. But the villagers thought that she was too small to go, and secondly, they were so wanting to see her beauty that they used to accompany her wherever she went.

One day, Lucy felt that she had seen enough of the villages admiring her. At the dead of night, she packed her suitcase full of food, clothes and water that she could use in the journey to the forest. At midnight, she set off to the forest.

She finally reached the forest after 2 hours. She went quickly and finally after 4 hours of walking, she reached the heart of the forest. She decided to lie down on the soft grass and take a rest when she heard the growl of a loin from behind her.

She looked behind and she never screamed when she saw the lion. She noticed that it had a thorn stuck in its paw. She carefully took the thorn out and put some of the ointment that she bought on it and took a piece of the frock she was wearing and used it to cover the lion's paw.

When she was done, the lion started to lick her and carry her around on its back. Lucy petted it and feeling its soft fur, fell asleep.

When she woke up, it was 9:00 a.m. The lion had fallen asleep beside her, and now had woken up. It greeted her by petting her hair with its paws. Lucy said, "You are so furry and kind. What should I name you? You look like a female lion. Perhaps Kiara will do. Do you like it?"

The lion seemed to love it. It bounded around, making roars. Many animals came. The lion seemed to tell that Lucy was its friend.

An elephant came forward and splashed water on her. Lucy said, "Hi all of you. I like you all. I'll love you be friends with you. Can you show me a place where I can bath?"

The elephant picked her up with its trunk and put her on its back. He trumpeted loudly and took her to a river. Soon all the animals were in the water splashing and enjoying themselves.

After the bath, they found some food and while Kiara ate the meat she found, all the other animals found grass. Lucy found some fruits which were good to eat and ate them.

In the afternoon, Lucy felt tired after playing about with the animals. The elephant was as lively as ever. All the other animals had settled down for taking naps. Lucy took a book from her bag and climbed on the elephant, which wanted to walk. Lucy felt the back of it as a good reading place, so she climbed on and read while the elephant walked here and there.

When they came back to the place after an hour, as Lucy had finished her book, they saw a hunter there!!

The hunter had put nets around all the animals and was about to put them in cages when Lucy jumped straight off the elephant and punched the hunter in his chest. The hunter fell down to the ground but got up a minute after that, when Lucy had taken the net off the lioness.

Lucy shouted, "Elephant dear, quick make him fall over! Then you, darling Kiara, show your sharp claws. He shall close his eyes for a second, at that time I shall put him in a cage and lock him in there!"

They worked together, and finally, they managed to put the hunter in the cage. They freed all the animals after that.

The hunter was trying to get free. At that time, they heard villagers'voices rising and shouting Lucy's name. They got to the spot where Lucy was and were watching in awe as they saw what Lucy had done.

They took another lock and put it on the cage and they said to Lucy, "We now understand what you really want to do; we see you are happy with these animals. You can stay here if you wish; we bought a lot of food for you in case you were hungry. There is meat for the lion too!"

Lucy was very happy and hugged all the villagers in turn. After giving the food, the villagers took the hunter away tot the police and then went back to their homes.

Now, Lucy was very happy staying in the heart of nature, the forest along with all her animal friends and she lived there happier ever after and protected the animals and trees from all sorts of danger!
