As of 2018, this is simply an illegal move. (Edit: some months earlier)
I assume the question is whether players castle by moving their king to c1 / g1 or by moving it to a1 / h1 when playing online.
I move my king to c1 / g1. It saves time and it's more susceptible for mouseslips, which adds an element of surprise to the game. :p
