Is it possible to delete studies?

Yes - the directly next to the text in the upper left corner (above the chat box) of the window that reads "X Members" and "X Chapters" there's a menu that looks like 3 parallel lines. That's the study settings window. At the bottom of that in red there's a delete study option.
