Constructive suggestions to improve the new interface

I hope this post will be perceived by all as a constructive suggestion and not as complaining on my part, because I love this site and think the developers are doing an awesome job! (And I thank them for all the hard work they're doing.)

Now for the suggestions:

1. Bring back the ‘Sign in’ button at the top right corner where it was before, since this is a pretty standard place to put it on most sites where a ‘sign in’ is required. Also, since this is where our username appears once we’ve signed in, it’s sort of a reflex to look there when you want to sign in.

2. I agree that the options are better organized now than before, but I’m not sure that the change of webpage is necessary to access them… Maybe the four main titles ‘Play’, ‘Learn’, ‘Community’ and ‘Tools’ could be on the top left corner of the main page, and the subtitles such as ‘Real Time’, ‘Training’, etc. could appear as a list below them when we put the mouse over the corresponding titles.
Just a precision about my suggestion #2 above, to avoid confusion. I wasn't suggesting to remove the 3 horizontal bars leading to the menu page, because I know it is probably useful to the users who play on their phones or tablets. Rather, I was proposing that the 4 main titles should be added to the main page, so that both the desktop and tablet users would be happy and choose the method they prefer.
My suggestions would be to make the new menu button a bit less abstract, adding a link to the user's page to the navigation menu, and adding a link to the play section that doesn't open up a create game menu to the navigation menu.

I know it wouldn't be as aesthetically pleasing as the minimalist button we have now, but maybe just making it say "MENU" or "NAVIGATION" maybe just making its purpose a bit more obvious

If at all possible also adding a link to the currently logged in user's page to the right where the user stats are is another suggestion because as of right now you would have to close the navigation menu to access the user's page.

Finally, some link to the play page without having to select realtime, correspondence, etc. and having to close the create game window. It's already become second nature to click the menu button when I want to get to a new page, but if I just want to look for a game instead of make one, there really isn't an option for that.

I hope this was helpful, and always, sorry for the block of text.
