Why can't i play blitz?

I'm good at bullet but blitz is just hard for me why is this? for example ...I'm 2100 bullet and i played a guy who's 1500 bullet and beat him.....but then i played the same guy whos 1800 blitz and I was 1700 blitz and i lost?

You need to play more games.

If you play more games, your rating will make more sense and be more reflective of your actual skill.

I don't think you can judge your ability in blitz based on one person you lost to, and only playing 3 games in total.

I suffered from this same dilemma; I feel at home playing bullet and rapid chess, on the other hand, blitz is rather hard... I'm never sure if I should think and ponder (like in rapid chess) or just move like crazy (as in bullet), y'know, blitz is something in-between... So, I figured out: Well, since the only bullet time control I can play decently is 1 minute (I don't get the 'rhythm' of 1+1, 2 min etc) I should NOT even try 3 min, then I only play 5 min WITH INCREMENT – having increment (3 or 5 seconds) is a very important detail for me, in my mind, it makes it closer to rapid (which, as mentioned, I love to play) i.e. I can have some thinks because I won't easily lose on time!

Apparently "It's_Been_Awhile" only likes to "move like crazy"; I can't find any bullet games he's played with a longer time control than 0+1.
