What is the your tactical awareness and what steps are you taking to improve it?

Currently at my level 1700 , it is 70% all phases i.e Opening, middel and endgame.

I am curious how to improve it?

Your advice is appreciated.
My average is 75% .I do woodpeckermethod+puzzlerush in lichess for tactics
My tactical awareness is near zero, hahaha! I've read (and experienced to some degree) that lots of puzzles (with the timing OFF) helps tremendously. As with anything, though, consistency is the key - puzzles every day to keep the tactical suck away.

75% that's good.

I wonder what is woodpeckermethod?
Now i am really curious, would you take a min to explain it?

I totally agree with you- "Consistency is the key"

Its a book containing puzzles.you can find more about it by googling but in nutshell you solve the puzzles and redo it after a time period .
I have an anti-chess brain (not the variant). If I try to solve a tactical problem fast, I fail with 90% certainty, not exaggerating. I am a bit better if I think, but then I'm slower than the continental drift.

Solving more.

75% opening, 60.4% middlegame, 75.5% endgame; I guess having most problem in middlegames is not really surprising and certainly it's something I need to work on. What is a bit surprising that by variant, I get 69.6% in classical and 71.4% in rapid but that's probably just a result of rapid providing rather small sample.

Training puzzles and game practice, preferrably in longer time controls that actually allow you to calculate and look for tactical stuff. Once you get better at spotting the patterns and opportunities, you'll be able to use it in shorter time controls as well.

It's one of the results shown after clicking on "Chess Insights" link in your profile page.
