I've already seen this video, it seems to be awesome. A cool mix of tradition and technology. I wonder if the app could connect to any chess server? imagine play a classical game on lichess with your smartphone/computer connected to this chessboard :) (assuming that time spent by automated pieces to move should be compensed in some way)

Is there anybody that thinking in buy the board?
That's a super cool idea. I really want to know more about the software, I like that it runs on the phone and uses Stockfish 7. I would also like to know what it sounds like, I have imagines of loud mechanical groans as the pieces float around the board.
Also, I have a feeling it may cause some sort of OCD in me as I do so like my Knights to face sideways - beware anyone who tries to say otherwise! :p
does it work with Lichess ?
