Weird castling 'mouse-slip'

In this game, I absent-mindedly clicked my king on move 18 while vaguely thinking about castling. I soon realised it wasn't sensible due to 18...Qa5 as played in the game, so dropped my king back on e1, then decided instead to play Rd1 - which had the effect on the board of playing 18.0-0-0??

In fairness, I played badly for the remainder of the game too - but this seems to me to be slightly odd behaviour given that I had specifically chosen not to move my king.

Thoughts?

This was recognized as a two-click move. King selected, then rook selected. You can change the behavior here en.lichess.org/account/preferences/game-behavior to allow only dragging.

Unfortunately just dragging doesn't really work for me - I only have a trackpad, which seems to mean there's always the danger of dropping a piece half-way through the drag (I have had that too over the last couple of days).

I don't like it much but I guess I'll just have to learn not to click about with my king :)

it is now possible to control this behaviour, look for 'Castle by moving ...' in your preferences
